FarmerCommunity is an organization that works toward raising awareness. We give farmers the opportunity to make informed decisions about climate-smart farming practices, agribusiness,
crop and livestock production.
Our Story
Lack of adequate climate-smart farming information
is a global problem. With an unsustainable ratio of farmers to agricultural support advisors, small-scale farmers experience this lack of information more acutely.
As the manager of her small family farm in Grenada, Founder, Laura Macneil experienced this first-hand.
It was through day-to-day challenges that her passion to
find a digital solution was born.
As a social impact start-up founder Laura has received local and international attention. In 2021 she participated in the UN Food Systems Summit, 2022 as finalist in the Female Founders Competition and in 2024 won a
full-scholarship to attend Draper University's Global
Startup Hero program in Silicon Valley.
FarmerCommunity collaborates with leading agriculture universities, subject-matter experts, international research and industry stakeholders, with the goal to scale globally.
